Terms of use

Draft, under legal review. If the review changes anything that matters, we'll email parents before it takes effect.

Version 2026-10-26

These terms are the agreement between you and Watson Interactive Group ("SleptOn," "we") for using SleptOn Recruiting. By using SleptOn you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use SleptOn.

Who can use SleptOn

  • Students must be in high school and 13 or older. A student under 18 can use SleptOn only after a parent or guardian agrees to these terms and gives consent. The parent is responsible for the student's use.
  • Parents and guardians must be 18 or older and the student's parent or legal guardian.
  • Staff must work for, or coach at, the school or recruiting service that added them, and use SleptOn only for that organization's athletes.
  • College coaches can open a profile or class packet that was sent to them. They don't need an account.

Your account

You sign in with a link sent to your email, so keep your email account secure and don't forward sign-in links. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away at hello@sleptonrecruiting.com if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend an account that seems to be misused.

What SleptOn is, and isn't

SleptOn is a tool for building a recruiting profile, following the steps to college eligibility, and sending the profile to college coaches. We don't promise that any coach will open, read or reply to a profile, or that any athlete will be recruited, offered a roster spot, or given a scholarship.

SleptOn is not a recruiting agent and does not represent any athlete. It doesn't arrange contact on an athlete's behalf, negotiate with colleges, or give legal, financial, eligibility or NCAA compliance advice. The eligibility checklist is a guide built from the NCAA's published rules; the NCAA Eligibility Center and the student's school counselor are the authorities, and families are responsible for following NCAA, NAIA, junior college and high school association rules.

Only the height and weight marked "verified" were checked, by the staff member named next to them, on the date shown. Everything else on a profile, including stats, GPA, test scores and offers, is what the family entered.

Your content

You own what you put on SleptOn: profile details, stats, links, notes to coaches, photos. You give us permission to store it, show it to the people the parent allowed, and send it where you ask, only to run SleptOn. That permission ends when the content is deleted, except for copies coaches already received.

You promise that what you post is true to the best of your knowledge, is yours to share, and doesn't break anyone's rights. Links to game film and articles point to other websites. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them.

Rules

Don't:

  • Put false information on a profile, or claim measurements were verified when they weren't.
  • Create a profile for someone without being them or their parent or guardian, or add a student to an organization they don't belong to.
  • Use SleptOn to harass, threaten or pressure anyone, or to contact students for anything other than recruiting.
  • Send profiles to anyone who isn't a college coach or recruiting staff, or send in bulk or as spam.
  • Copy, scrape or collect information from SleptOn, or try to get into accounts, profiles or systems you aren't allowed in.
  • Upload anything harmful, illegal, or sexual.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Schools and recruiting services

A high school or recruiting service that uses SleptOn for its athletes also signs a separate agreement with us. If that agreement and these terms disagree, that agreement wins for that organization. Staff must:

  • Add only students who are actually in their program, with correct parent contact details, and remove students who leave it.
  • Verify a height or weight only after measuring it themselves or seeing it measured.
  • Keep tiers and notes professional, and use what they see only for helping their own athletes get recruited.
  • Share a class packet only with college coaches and recruiting staff.
  • Not contact a student privately through anything SleptOn shows them. Follow their school's or service's own rules for contact with students.

An organization's staff lose access to a student's details when the parent withdraws consent or the student is removed from the program.

College coaches

A coach who opens a profile or class packet may use it only to evaluate and recruit those athletes, under the rules of their association. Don't forward it outside your program's staff, sell it, or add it to a list or database. A family or organization can turn off a link at any time.

Fees

SleptOn is free for families today. A school or recruiting service may pay us, or may charge its own families, under its own agreement. If we ever charge families directly, we'll show the price and ask before charging anything. Nothing changes without notice.

Ending your use

You can stop using SleptOn at any time, and a parent can withdraw consent or ask us to delete a profile as the privacy policy describes. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or puts anyone at risk, and we'll tell you why unless the law or someone's safety stops us. If we ever shut SleptOn down, we'll give families at least 30 days' notice and a way to get a copy of their profiles.

Legal terms

SleptOn is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms and the privacy policy, including that SleptOn will always be available or free of errors.

Limit on our liability. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed recruiting opportunity, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the past 12 months or $100.

Your responsibility. You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim against us comes from content you posted or your breaking these terms.

Disputes. Write to us first at hello@sleptonrecruiting.com, and we'll try to work it out within 60 days. These terms follow California law. Any lawsuit goes to the state or federal courts in Santa Clara County, California.

Changes. We'll email you before a change to these terms that matters takes effect. Using SleptOn after that means you accept the change.

Everything else. If one part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term right away doesn't waive it. You can't transfer your account. We can transfer these terms if SleptOn is sold or merged, under the promise in the privacy policy.
